Welcome!

My name is Brooklyn Walker and I study American politics with a focus on religion and politics, public opinion, and political psychology. I am particularly interested in understanding why support for Christian nationalism varies and its effects on political and social attitudes.

I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Kansas in 2022, after which I served as Instructor of Political Science at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. In the fall of 2025 I'll be joining the University of Tennessee-Knoxville as Assistant Professor of Political Science.
